When you're an indie streamer game developers don't give a shit, you can't target thousands of streamers but you can target individual companies like Cover.
On the other side of things. Publishers and Game devs (these are mostly the Jap dinosaur ones like Nintendo and Capcom) believe that the live streaming of a video game negatively affects sales. Because the person is spending time watching the game, instead of buying it themselves. They don't think that people buy games if they see it in a livestream.
