There isn't that large of a growth for Ai's channel in recent month

That's not what I asked. Why are Gura's numbers consistently constant like that? Why not 10,131 or 9,432 or something when Ai's are 434 exactly? Is there some cap on subs or does the algorithm the stat collectors use have some kind of wonk to it? It looks highly unusual for her to get exactly 10k every day except for one day where it was 20k. So, what causes that weirdness?

Technically true, but the percentage is different between different vtubers.
If you define dead subs as the difference between subscribers and total views, on one side you have Marine at 32.8% despite 1.29M subs and then you have Anya at 7.9% with 304k subs.
