>>35963961You can see how excited she is about raiding NPC locations, her oil rigs are like MGSV FOB invasions, she can't play this like a regular experienced player plays shooters so it turns into some high stakes stealth operation. Her perspective is different from others who just play it like all the other games, clear content quickly and move on.
>>35964075And she spent months learning ARK too, just remembering the controls took her a lot of effort and she seemed miserable when nothing went her way. And the FPS part is the most difficult thing in gaming for her. You have to realize it's basically the first game where she was required to consistently be good at shooting to not embarrass herself in front of everyone else. She said Rust nearly stonewalled her at first and getting over herself took her considerable amount of effort. Naturally it's hard to abandon something like this forever, she's having the time of her life enjoying playing a game like a normal player.
I'm personally glad that it didn't become just one of the passing trends for her. She already spent too much time on one-off games she plays for a few hours and forgets forever. And people were giving her shit for that too. I'd rather see her being committed to something especially if it's something she enjoys. If this signifies her departure from trend-based streaming I'm all for it because in time she'll fall in love with more games. She would've dropped Rust if she didn't have her trying ARK and Hardcore MC experiences behind her and she'll succeed in learning more games having Rust experience behind her.
