>>35868067Anon you replied to here, have a massive essay since I think the topic's interesting and you said you were genuinely curious, maybe it will actually help some "EN3" girl you were talking to if they really exist.
>She was far too nervous with Rob when she did do a collab, she should have played it cooler since her being all embarrassed would only encourage shipping and such.>She talked about him a little too much in the beginning. You have to keep in mind how word carries, so even if you think you're talking about something sparingly compared to other topics, if people ONLY talk about what you said then it's as if you spoke about it at length, it dominates outside discussion and can affect how others perceive you. Early on it would be best just to drop that you like X Star and then move on, not addressing it again or interacting with them publicly for a long long time to avoid that affect and establish your strength of character better.>Then you have the Ollie thing you'd brought up, where she willingly joined an Apex collab between Ollie and Roberu who then proceeded to more or less ship them the whole time. She obviously should have avoided this for so many different reasons, such as Ollie not being that reliable, the collab being an established collab where it's usually rude to butt in even if invited, the fact that Roberu himself may have seen this trouble approaching but couldn't object for risk of being rude as well, etc.>All of this mounted and came to cause others to make it "the joke" most vtubers get early one, such as Mumei's "who?", the early on memorable part people use to joke about them and talk about them. Her character became "the girl with the crush on Roberu" and gave her no end of headaches as a result, even having people like Irys and Kiara doing it which she started to near visibly grow tired of whenever it was brought up, especially since it probably made things somewhat awkward between herself and her oshi, regardless of whether she had a crush on him or not (and god I hope she doesn't).If you want an example of how that affects how people see you, I like the Stars and generally watch them more than Hololive. Even though she had done other things and spoke on other topics, whenever Rob was brought up or even complimented in some threads it was always >haha Baelz post >lol Baelz likes him, to the point to someone like me who doesn't watch the girls as much it started to become very annoying. I began to view her similarly to how others did, but more negatively, "The girl who joined Hololive because she wants to flirt with Rob", which was not only creepy to me, but insulting to the people who auditioned and got turned down. For the longest time I'd had an immediate, pavlovian response to her appearing anywhere of suspicion and reproach, because of how others and her own fans would characterize her to me, a third party. Obviously I don't think I'm in the majority, but I saw others who expressed the same sentiments as myself because of all this, so you can absolutely cause others to view you negatively who otherwise wouldn't mind you if you aren't careful, since your fans will likely flanderize parts of you to others and there's no way someone's going to watch hours of your streams to get a better feel of who you are if they already feel negatively about you due to how your fans have presented you.
Honestly, this advice can be extended to many different topics, and at it's base is really just a lesson on fan flanderization habits and how to avoid your fans flanderizing you in such a way that can make you seem unlikable to other people.
I'm glad she's chilled out with it recently and managed to focus on getting her fans to focus on other parts of her character and personality, but I'm still somewhat suspicious of her because of it all. She's at the very least demonstrably doing much better, she's far better with her limited interactions with Tempus than many of the other girls in EN even, saying as they're pissing off their own fans and massively over collabing.
Her model and fanarts are also pretty cute.
