The actual problem with prism is that their 'rising stars' like luto and shiki randomly decided to take massive breaks and the sony affiliation didn't really help except for the brief and very obvious botnet views.

There's a lot of unappreciated vtubers out there. If you're not in the big two, or if you're not a vshojo orbiter (or in the group itself), you don't matter. And not just on about viewers, clipfags just as bad too.

Pic related a good example - still doing streams and videos but not many know about it.

Not him but of course it was. She joined a corpo but didn't see a viewer increase so she was effectively losing money because now the corpo was taking a cut. She was better off going back to being an indie in this case.

I did watch her and superchat her. It is sad that she quit so early, I think she had potential to grow more.
I admit her content was a bit boring for most people. I really enjoyed her voice and positivity, but not enough to migrate to Twitch to follow her. If she starts streaming in Youtube I might watch her again.
