>>80951Out of all the Spanish-speaking world, only Spain is a developed nation with decent access to the internet and disposable income. Even then Spain's population is tiny compared to Japan or the US (importantly, speaking English also allows a VTuber to participate in the British and Canadian markets). Also, Spain is one of the poorer EU countries.
If aiming to cover a wider segment of the hispanosphere each new country added only contributes a small amount of active viewership and even fewer subscribers/donors (less income and less access to internet technology) while also adding to the logistics of scheduling for an audience dispersed across several timezones.
Rivalry between anglophone weebs exists, but it is nothing compared to the rivalry between hispanophones: not all hate each other but the few ones who do are vocal and annoying enough to drown a chat dead. They will fade away eventually IF ignored (which depends entirely on the streamer, her mods, and her members) but that will take months.
Any Spanish-speaking VTuber aspirant with native English skills will just attempt to enter the EN side of the industry, since it is much bigger, concentrated on fewer countries, and is more lucrative.
It is much more likely we reach HoloLive EN & ID 3rd gens before they even entertain the idea of HoloLive ES, and, realistically, it might be more like HoloLive EU where they have performers from across EU, all of which is fluent in English and their country's language. So, HoloLive ES is going to be Spanish Kiara en 2025.
