According to Cyberlive (later Aetheria) fans, it’s because Lumi was a bitch and a terrible manager (more on that later) and also doxxed someone (iirc it was one of her mods, and she removed his mod privileges after she found out, but that might be inaccurate).
According to Lumi, who, remember, joined as a vtuber, she was pressured into also assuming manager duties because the company was going through trouble, she was getting stressed out because *of course* having to be a vtuber and also your coworkers’ tardwrangler at the same time is hard, but she put up with it because the corpo needed it until she found out about a secret discord server where everyone was talking shit about her. So she left and convinced Yuri, another one of the girls who wasn’t talking shit, to leave as well.
Given that Cyberlive went under, and then Vera, the manager-vtuber of Aetheria (as in, she was hired as a manager at Cyberlive and became a vtuber with Aetheria; so, the opposite of Lumi) was just confirmed as a doxxer…you can see why so many Lumigumi are now saying Lumi was “vindicated”.
