The heartbreak is mostly about broken promises I don't want to get into. She used to be really down to earth and close with her fans, and you could tell she was just streaming because it was something she seriously enjoyed doing. Nowadays, it's pretty obvious it's mostly about the numbers, and if she doesn't get them she gets really sad. And she constantly ignores or turns on those who support her the most, meanwhile welcoming known bad actors into her community (for greedy reasons) despite knowing full well how her fans feel about them and how disruptive they are. I think it's just that from a business standpoint pandering to unicorns as a westerner would have a lot less pros than cons. Whereas jps have had an established idol culture and unicorns who give their all to financially support their love in the past, with westerners you just risk getting schizos who don't really understand that you need to pay for more of a product, even if that product is a person. Also, Rushia was a Holo, so her immediately landing a huge audience was guaranteed. You think an indie would have that much of an expectation for stability?
