it is much better then importing new people from 3rd and 2nd world countries and the horrible effect they have on a country.
you can't import a people without importing their culture, and their culture is why their country is a shithole.
also saying a nation's wealth is tied to its population is retarded, most african countries are dirt poor and have large populations, same with russia, same with all of rural china.
at the other side of the spectrum tiny countries like hong kong, taiwan and israel have fairly high levels of wealth.
but honestly fuck overall wealth and gdp, the important thing is how good of a place a country is to live in.
