IRL feet are nice only immediately after being washed and dried when they're clean and soft.
I know a girl who's an artist-illustrator and she also has a foot fetish in a very similar way as me. She hates stinky feet, we are both sexually attracted to them, but only appreciate their looks - kissing, sucking, or doing stuff to them is gross.
We are also VERY picky about their looks, even more in the case of irl feet. Like less than 1% of feet are actually doing anything to us. Even ITT, full of quality anime feet pics, which are by definition almost always better, I only actually like a few of them.
I'm mentioning her because I think there are more people like us that are attracted to feet in this specific way. I think it started a few years ago around the time when anime artists started learning how to draw good anime feet instead of potato stumps
