It was good entertainment during COVID lockdowns, and satiated part of the social interactions that I had been missing due to said lockdowns. Now that things are mostly back to normal, I find myself losing interest. I have to say that all the drama definitely contributed to me losing interest in this hobby.

/vt/ isn't that old. A few of us for some godforsaken reason stuck it out on 4chan and ended up on here after the /jp/ split. Funny enough before en and the move from /jp/ the attitude to holostars was much more positive overall. The absolute vitriol and hatred is a more recent trend with the creation of /vt/ and the rise of EN.

I had a bit of a passing interest in nijiEN up until luxiem but yeah the constant clashing felt really off to me. Honestly, kind of. I find myself just sticking to Gura, IryS and Fauna these days and tuning the rest of the girls out, whereas before I would tune in to pretty much any of the EN girls . Not interested in most collabs any more either.

It's honestly not the end of the world though. I always knew I would eventually fall out of love with Vtubers. The homos just sped the process up.
