>>36684148>>36684704The reason mixed gender is failing for holoen where it worked for nijien is because 1) niji generations didn't take over a fucking year to debut 2) nijien girls actually stream frequently enough to allow natural friendships to form, I think at this point holoen girls stream so little that any 'coworker friendships' that might have existed between gura and amelia or mori and kiara simply don't exist anymore if they ever did 3) because they don't stream there is no real chemistry between them 4) even in nijien there are males who just don't really feel like streaming with females and do it very rarely if at all, the best collabs involving males are also usually all-male collabs so the demographic forces at work here are also at work there. Pomu and Luca isn't as funny to watch as Luca and Shu or Elira and Pomu. The people of the same gender simply have similar jokes and wavelengths (and this is another thing holoen fails at because so many of the girls are thin skinned compared to the nijien girls that jokes and pranks can't exist without someone throwing a bitchfit, which is probably one of the reasons gura collabs only with the girls she feels she has a similar sense of humour to like SNOT) and this is also apparent from early Tempus collabs where Vesper and Magni had some good chemistry together and the four of them together are pretty good at large scale banter.
I would say in particular male-female collabs only work with Chiliman and the resident whores like Kobo simply because he's like a prettyboy or some shit. Axel has also underperformed his role since he speaks Japanese but doesn't collab with the JP stars much or the handful of JP girls who are open to collabing with males.
There's a lot of mismanagement here that seems to stem from wanting their own version of luxiem.
Most weirdly of all is how half of them are on break at the same time.
