If you look at NijiEN's numbers the big viewership increases the girls got as run-off from Luxiem's fujo invasion came at the cost of actual superchat money and fan engagement - a good chunk of the people actually donating and buying merch didn't want to stick around for the 'new content', and these were people who were fans of a co-ed company so obviously you'd think the effect for a gender-segregated project like HoloEN would be that much worse.
Like I actually don't know what the angle here was. Did they expect Tempus talent to be so good that existing fans would react differently to how existing Niji fans reacted to Luxiem+ being packed with Twitch grifters? That's fucking delusional. Did they expect Tempus to somehow go viral like Luxiem did and pull off the whole fan-replacement thing where they bring in so much $$$ it justifies the harm it does to the girls? That's also fucking delusional. The thing is a lot of these numbers are public, so the whole affair reeks of somebody in management stamping his feet and forcing an EN co-ed environment out of sheer bullheaded spite.
