The amount of people in the anime/otaku-adjacent space who had not yet heard of vtubers or seen vtuber clips has got to be pretty low at this point and they'd already checked it out or made up their minds not to by now, if not years ago in fact.
One thing we are seeing more of is that it seems very hard to drum up an actually-new audience segment and really existing vtubers are fighting for approximately the same crowd, and the turnover of that crowd is more of the same kinds of people. So, what, is the argument that being more visible on twitter will siphon over more NijiEN fans over to Holo? Probably not. In any case I'm glad to see an injustice of Holo being suppressed dealt with but it's kind of too late IMO, it would have maybe made a difference in like 2020/early 2021.
