So Kyo decided to, instead of just letting it go and hoping no one would think about it, lecture her on why she shouldn't say that. Then the Twitter mob got involved and she made an apology video and took a week off.
She's back now, but some worry that she might be walking on eggshells and it will impact her brand of humour, which was always very blunt and pulled no punches.
Possibly worth noting is that she has on several occassions joked about all Asians looking the same but no one cared because she's Chinese (and Twitter only cares when you make jokes about black people)
