>>37009706The issue we can't stop kids on twitter and reddit from ripping off our shit, cannot go physically disable their accounts which is what it would take.
However, it's also a matter of fact that the Holo reddit doesn't actually get much posts, especially lately. /vt/ is approximately 50x their post rate. literally 50x. Obviously /vt/ is about a lot more than just Hololive but this follows everything else, /vt/ is like ... 170x the post rate of the Virtual Youtubers reddit. Phase Connect by itself here, is getting more posts per day than their entire fucking Hololive sub.
So basically we're kind of in a tail wagging the dog mode where there ISN'T much else besides /here/ for an active beating heart of Western vtuber discussion that isn't discord, and isn't random twitter threads with generally-inane comments or total schizos shitting things up (and it's in fact more likely a tryhard shitter will be bonked on /vt/ than on twitter). There are I think a lot of mostly-unorganized/unaffiliated fans who lurk on twitter or some random discords (that are 99% off-topic or generally keep to themselves) and don't actually have a large circle of people they talk about vtubers with off-stream - but in terms of organized public locations, well /here/ is /everywhere/ practically. It's not that we're so great, the other places are just that dead or fake sycophants.
