>>37073405Teleportation just felt so much more blatantly extreme than anything else up to that point. Teleporting fire mages specifically was just too much for me with the relatively grounded presentation of the setting the story seemed to be going for.
Maybe I'm just biased, I always disliked how big the gap between the Rapture the other characters experienced and talked about was and the pile of garbage you sift through. It's the difference between lore and story in games, you only get to hear about most of the interesting stuff instead of experiencing it yourself
