I literally cant think of a reason for Ame to do it, Mori seems to want to be part of the eceleb cliques that she cant join as a vtuber, Kiara is just one of those women who want their entire life on social media, Kronii is inactive, I think IRyS is just keeping her free money on life support, Mumei is like Kiara but not nearly as bad, Gura seems to just not care about anything, Fauna and Bae seem committed to hololive, and Ina isnt really an eceleb she is a legitimate artist.
Realistically other than Ina, they should all be fine to not even have a single social media account that is connected to them, they get all the attention they could want from their hololive account, Kiara posts her meals and gets all the comments and likes, why does she need to post about her clothes on her roommate account? Doesn't she have actual friends to show it to? I guess Kronii and Mumei aren't really too bad since I actually don't think Mumei has any friends to send her thoughts to, however its still odd that she uses her old social media knowing that a significant amount of people just treat it as a mumei account, Kronii just seems to play with her actual friends every now and then and I guess there isn't any issue with that. IRyS is sort of like Kiara and Mumei where I literally cannot understand why she is posting images of her nails on twitter, can't she just show her mum or something? Mori could be put into the same category as Ina where she just likes making music but at some point she changed into an eceleb and I guess she just wants more attention? I don't know why Ame would choose to do this low effort overwatch stream on a different account when she could just play by herself or with friends, or put it on her twitch account if she is incapable of playing a game without streaming.
Basically I am fine with Ina being active on her roommate account because she isn't trying to use her hololive fame to become an eceleb, she probably built up relationships within the industry and doesn't want to throw them away. Bae and Fauna seem to basically be inactive which is fine. I don't understand why anyone with hundreds of thousands of followers/subscribers would ever feel the need to make another social media account to post boring thoughts, just send it to the group chat or something, if you need attention that badly make any tweet on your hololive account and you will get it.
