You only need to learn common JP phrases to understand what's going on when they're playing games. Obviously chatting streams are difficult but find JPs with translators in the chat. The jump to JP from EN is so worth it. They always stream. Offline collabs. 3D events. Hardly any males and they're (mostly) professional when males are there. Just don't be an overseas greyfag shitting up their chat in English.

If Hololive is really that important to you, yes. Otherwise, watch Phase and realize that if you’re gonna go all in on an EN-only meta, you might as well acknowledge it outright and not pretend you’re a JP corpo that happens to speak English.

No, but legitimately, the only EN vtubers who’ll ever give you the JP experience are the ones who’ve done their reps and collab with JP chuubas. You can’t be like JP if you can’t interact with JP chuubas. Streaming only to EOPs and collabing only with EN streamers turns you into a glorified twitch streamer, who knew.

I’m going through a person HoloEN anti arc because I realized that getting into EN made me stop watching anime. Yes, I’m a retard.
