However, I don't think lazy behavior should be rewarded, especially not at the level where you're getting 50-100k a month just for existing. There are certain jobs that only value the end result (programming, solving equations, art and so on), so it doesn't matter how many hours you clock in as long as the job is done on time, but as streamers/entertainers they SHOULD be expected to provide at least a certain amount of content. Everyone's free to spend their money however they like, but it somehow feels wrong seeing someone get rewarded so disproportionally compared to their peers. I really don't understand why chumbuds are enabling this kind of behavior. I mean, if you're a fan and you want to see your oshi more, wouldn't it make more sense to stop supporting her until she notices diminished numbers and starts putting in the work? On the other hand, if she doesn't get back on track, wouldn't that mean that she doesn't give a shit anymore, so why should you?
