>>37431790It’s the attitude they have towards their audience. Their audience doesn’t give a fuck about males, so they collab with males. Three out of the four EN members who collabed with males thought they could berate their audience into “being better” instead of slowly easing them into the possibility of male collabs not being the end of the world.
And they failed. But they had other problems that made it worse, and I think it’s connected. The biggest part is trying to be combative with their audience instead of using persuasion.
Don’t like your model’s boobs and how some of your audience is really into your Minecraft content, or that they complain about all the gaps in your schedule? Just stop doing those and also wear your new outfit to a fucking Ring Fit stream! That’ll show them. Your audience members didn’t like your collabs with Connor? Start making it a secret so they don’t know in advance! Get complaints about male collabs? Mock them and tell them to improve themselves instead of just being honest with them and tell them that the EN side finally has enough members to plan collabs for the group games you’ve always wanted to host, and that you’ll make up for it later.
Leaving aside politics and social issues, JP and ID know that whatever they think about that stuff personally, a vtubing stream where people are trying not to think about that sort of thing is not the place to bring it up.
