I can understand if it's one of your favorite games and you know everything about it and yet the girl is fumbling everything terribly and ignoring the very-correct advice from chat constantly - that might be aggravating. But if it's just generally expecting them to be ultra pog 360 noscope headshots all day and being mad that they aren't pro gamers, holo is definitely not good for their blood pressure.
And even if you do care about the game, understanding that the person knows nothing about it compared to you ought to make anyone just simmer down and let them do it however they can. For example Fauna might play Morrowind sooner or later - one of my fav games. I don't give a shit how she plays it at all because what I'd be hoping to see would be her get inspired to try finding all the Daedric ruins, collecting all the items from Yagram Bagarn's book etc, the first-time wonder autism that the game inspires. I don't give a shit if she has some weird spec or not. I suppose it's self-centered to say "everyone should think like me" but I don't see how else to do it if you expect anything other than the "friend or little sister playing it clumsily" experience.
