So I got around to watching Ame's memgen
Transcripts of some of the more interesting bits:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7dDmYQUDaE&t=705s>Yeah I'm really grateful, like you know, for hani - for anime, heh, h-hanime, for anime NYC>Yeah like I said before, I'm not - I'm not like the one who is working on the setup or anything>But it's really cool to see, uh, it's really cool to see, uh you know, how far along our relationship with VRChat has gotten>And honestly, it's probably, um, as much to thank for that our manager>Cuz yeah, uh even though, like I was the one who initiated>I'm like, I want, you know, we gotta talk with VRChat, like what can we do>Can we get into contact with somebody, like you know, to help us and stuff like that>And then, yeah, our manager's really good at, um you know, keeping - keeping the connection going and trying to see what else is possible>Cuz after, after anime expo, I was like, okay, can we do something better for like the next convention>Like what about this, you know, I pitch an idea>I was like, look we can get like an augmented reality screen>You know, we can do something really cool here>We can appear, you know, in person in a way, you know, at the booth>And so, I - I don't, you know, that - that - a lot of the times, that's what happens>I'll just be like, okay, I'm gonna pitch this idea, and see where it goes>Yeah, there's a lot of stuff like that>That you guys see the results of, but not might even know that>I was behind it all along, hehe, not really that many stuff, but there's a few things>Um yeah that's how it's like for me anywayshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7dDmYQUDaE&t=804>Like uh, I'll just - I'll just say, hey can we contact like this person about this and see if this is possible>and I won't hear anything about it for like months>for like 6, 9, 9 months, 12 months, even more possibly>But uh, then it turns out, something's actually being worked on>Yeah, you just have to be, I guess, you just have to be kinda patient>Especially, yeah I think this goes for anybody like if you're part of a big company>There's a lot of cogs in the machine, if you will>So I just ask, and I'll wait, like pray>Like um, a lot of the pretty stuff that we're now able to do>Um like at home, you know with like uh our home 3D setup>That's like one of the->Another thing is, like a few months after debut, it was like>Can we possibly use this, you know, in the future?>Um and you know I didn't even hear anything about that for like literally a year and a half>And then it turns out that um the way to do it is being implemented by the company>So really grateful for that too>Yeah I know some people are like>Oh, I don't know, sometimes it feels like they don't really do anything for the girls and stuff like that>But it just takes a while>There's a lot of people working on stuff behind the scenes yeah yeahMy take is that Ame's manager seems good and tries to work with all her ideas, but communication up the chain to JP HQ is criminally horrendous
I can easily see why EN has such a hard time getting any support or feedback in timely manner
Including the shitshow that is IRyS trying to communicate with Redjuice on her outfit/redesign, despite being fully fluent and living in JP
