Rushia and Kiara are both people whose lives before becoming Holos were lonesome and full of pretty dismal failures. I assume you already know what Kiara's deal was; for Rushia, before she became an Internet necromancer she was a freeter from some rural town who was washing dishes part-time. Just like with Kiara, it would seem natural to consider Rushia's approach to her viewers as being a somewhat sincere response to them saving her from a life that was on track to be poor, obscure, and pointless.
