>>37598179>They simply dislike chuubas they percieve are disagreeable and will not pander to them whenever they want>Thus they accept any and all degenerate behaviors from jp chuubas who they percieve as submissiveAlright, lemme engage with you in as respectful and full a manner I can muster.
tldr/abstract:
You're projecting your own racist concepts onto others. While I do agree that disdain for western, female sexuality comes from associating it with negative aspects of feminism, I disagree with your implication that that assessment with western chuubas is per se incorrect, born only of not liking the chuuba. The cart isn't before the horse, instead it's a different bias: this board doesn't hate western women AND THEN, by extension, hates western women for being "sluts", they hate a real mindset found in SOME women in the west that they, THEN (and I believe unreasonably), attribute to ALL women in the west. Sort of like guilty of having the mindset until proven that you don't (and then she'll just be accused of being a pick-me girl anyway...). It's not wrong to dislike the mindset, and plenty of women do have it; it's just unfair to attribute the disliked mindset like a blanket.
The blogpost:
I would appreciate it if you didn't project your racism onto others. I've never seen anyone, even on this board (specifically) w/ honest to god racists and sexists, say they enjoy JP chuubas because they are "submissive". If you mean people enjoy JP chuubas because they perceive them as less openly hostile, then that would be more accurate (considering the fact that this is an EOP, holobrony board, the open hostility of some of HoloEN, mixed with the holobrony belief that vshojo is representative of all western vtubing, of course there will be blanketed disdain for western chuubas). The stereotype of "submissive" Asian women, however? Not that trait (if anything, the rape fantasies I keep seeing tell me people want some form resistance).
Clearly, as this thread showed, people do associate western, female sexuality w/ the negative, more contradictory aspects of feminism. However, to dismiss the association as merely "preconceived" denotes a lack of understanding of feminist theory and its social reach. The "I want empowerment through looking attractive but I don't want men (specifically men I don't find attractive---either physically or personality wise) to 'objectify' me by saying I'm attractive" is a pretty common sentiment in the 4th wave. Take make-up for example. It has had different uses throughout history, sure; but the uses have always had social, rather than personal, uses: it has been to provide an outward appearance for the sake of OTHER's assessment of you (covering blemishes, appearing fairer skinned because whiteness is seen as the only attractive tone, being "loud" and garish like with crossdressers, a marker of wealth and status which only would make sense in a social context, denotation of someone's religious importance/status, etc). In modern day (U.S.), make-up keeps that social-perception quality.
Yet, many women say they do it for personal, self-actualization and self-esteem reasons, not because of or for others' sakes. The obvious problem is that that conceit is contradictory. Basic feminist theory dictates you can't really adhere to typical gender roles and stereotypes for your own sake of empowerment, devoid of wanting social acceptance, because those alterations (trying to look "attractive") are based on the socially defined conceits of attractiveness and acceptance.
This contradictory mindset is one of the core concepts of modern day feminism in the west, and it isn't an uncommon one, even amongst women who don't consider themselves feminists. Mind you, looking attractive for others' sake and assessment is performed by both genders, it's just that men don't have a social movement that exists to empower them for doing a set of actions while also condemning those same actions as contributive to something negative, like "rape culture". I think that, not only do plenty of women have this mentality, but also that it's an inherent personality defect born of insecurity with wanting to be accepted (but not wanting to look like you're being controlled), and someone could reasonably dislike (or like depending on how the insecurity is presented: belligerently with no self-awareness or simply acknowledging that you have the contradictory mindset) that defect.
Also, I don't know what you mean by "accuse the latter of being a whore by association". Association to what? A "fat shrill feminist"? Wouldn't that specific framing disqualify them from even being able or willing to be a "whore". I think this is what that other anon means when he claims you contradict yourself in between sentences.
>inb4 "I ain't reading all that"Yeah yeah, I like to be thorough in my arguments.
