>>37625208I didn't watch that video, but from what i've read somewhere else, they went to poor parts of India, Pakistan, Nepal etc. to get workers to build their stadiums and infrastructure for the World Cup. With no choice to get back to their homes until they finished the project, they were stuck in Qatar and made to work, textbook slave labour. Some even say a bunch of people died, not sure how much of that is true, but that's the gist of it.
Nothing new for Qatar to be fair, the big event just made the problems they already had with forced labour to come to the surface.
