I bought their game. Haven't started yet. I just realized I got a VN to practice Japanese but it doesn't have voices.
God, it was such low hanging fruit for them to actually provide voices for these characters. They can even do it in both languages.

Recording hours upon hours upon hours of dialogue, especially in both languages, just wasn't in the cards. Even the girls wanted to do it for free there's still the like 3-4 people that need to get paid to direct, edit, mix, and finalize such a thing.

If you think about it, it's a fortunate coincidence the VN never had voice-acting to begin with.
Otherwise they'd have to explain why Makoto and Akira sound different as vtubers and why they'll sound different again in the sequel.
