In her case tho, my belief is that she genuinely grew out of her chuu2 phase and is embarrassed of her creation.
In a way everything she did so far with regards to schizolore derives from one sentence by her sister

Another thing that explains her shift in content is the fact she no longer lives alone in a basement in Australia but in a (likely paper thin walled) japanese house with her parents and family.
Kanata detailed the level of sound proofing she needed back at her house (when she lived with her parents) to reduce noise pollution (some minuscule and sweaty sound proof box).
I doubt Haachama has that now and cannot make too much noise anymore.
Growing out of her chuu2 + having to mind her volume + having adult responsibilities towards her education = Haachama being cornered out of her usual streams.
It is also my opinion that the whole "killing Haachama" thing was an attempt to return to her former persona, the much more subdued and low volume Akai Haato. But, as she said in the end of the first attempt at closing the "lore" arc, she couldn't muster the strength to finish it properly because

I love the little girl but I hold no hope she will return to form, the only thing I can do is to wait and enjoy it while I can hoping she can be happy and try to accomplish something with the opportunity she got.
