If they're best friends like OkaKoro then that's great for them and great for /u/ stuff but that doesn't really mean anything, especially when those best friends often take massive breaks from collabing together, and doesn't mean that making other stuff with other people they aren't best friends with is bad either
the only "formal" shit that happens is stuff put together by the company, like the hololive channel's collabs, but that's always very distinct from the rest of the stuff a holo makes
the rest of it's just people trying to make new and fun stuff and get along
