She had several buffs that I don’t think Nijisanji really has a chance of getting, in that she was able to corner the EOP market when it was between the point of saturated yet also thirsty for something different, not like now that is just saturated. She also had a larger buff being Nabi/Amelia’s artist and even if we took out the leech from metatag, she was actually smart to stream at prime time targeting said EOPs but market herself as a JP, not like the NijiEN who are marketing themselves as purely EN. Also, she capitalized on her new wave by pandering hardcore to said EOPs as a JP, which NijiEN will not be able to do.
It would be the same as if one of the NijiEN suddenly found herself a Russian favorite and went all out to pander to them. Right now, Uto’s competition is only a small part of HoloEN, which is usually Chumbuds and Deadbeats so regardless she don’t lose much when she overlap with the HoloEN or even JP.
At best, the comparison for the NijiEN is actually the tranny shark. Lots of Vtwittering to establish, a pretty good model and scuffed debut. Although, hopefully they don’t go the way of that boring one.
