Dancing is 95% camera work. What makes dances look good is the camera work. You have to have multiple cameras, have to have them constantly moving, have the camera doing the work making the dance look exciting.

You in your room can do a similar dance as this, it would look lame with a single flat shot. It looks dynamic because of the camera work. All MVs are quick cuts, motion shots, and zoom ins. Otherwise it looks boring. Doesn't matter how good of a dance it is, how still the dancer is. Go watch a 1950s musical movie with a dance in it. It looks boring despite the dance being very hard to perform.
