There are a couple of lesser known indie Vs that seem to be in a genuine relationship and it's adorable, but just please don't bring any more of the creepy side of the wotaku culture to real Vtubers (fiction is fine, I need to read that Mikami Teren's book...).
GFE is just a weird parasocial interaction thing, it's fine as long as people understand that it's nothing more than that. I can relate, especially for basement dwellers like me and some others here it's psychologically typical and perhaps a necessity to some extent, for lack of other socialization, but taking it too far can do more harm to our brains than good. Should be as careful with it as with medicine and drugs.
