I for one, am very happy to welcome new takos in the thread, provided that they are takos in the first place, as in they have lurked and know the general culture of the thread. However, i do also support calling out newfags and such, in a jovial manner if they are willing to learn board culture, and mocking if they dont. /Wah/ has been able to stay relatively comfy thanks to people gatekeeping and immediately calling out on bs so far, and for your feer of stagnation in the future, it is quite unlikely to happen, simply due to how it currently works.
By the time the board has fallen to that state, Ina wouldve most likely graduated, and thus /wah/ would cease to exist.And again, everything in moderation. Screeching at new takos who are willing to absorb board culture is a no no, but soft words dont work on trolls and the likes, best to immediately call them out from the start.
