The chuuba and the artist having communications (specially for a redesign) is understandable, Irys would need to bring her input and feedback to the artist. But the rigger? If you need to test the rig you can test it yourself, in fact it would be the easiest to test it on yourself and fix the problems than to talk to the chuuba or send it to them, wait for approval and come back.
Following the rigger on Twitter? Reply tweets, or other social media? Totally normal and expected. Adding them on your gaming friend lists? Thats way over the line of professional behavior.
