Vtubing selects for: young and inexperienced hence basically by definition don't have much wisdom or developed interests yet, weeb girls, desperate poorfag normalfag girls, and ethots.
You've probably not talked with girls with PhDs who as it turned out were actually hardcore WoW raiders back in the day and almost failed out of the program to raid Naxx and such. I ... have. The thing is, she didn't look like a cute anime girl. Our shallow interest in cute designs/voices selects for similarly shallow girls to play them, typically. A girl who can fend for herself in the world just fine really, really doesn't have the need to do vtubing unless she had a specific interest in the format itself (Ina is sort-of like this but 90% of it is because she's a weeb girl who just follow trends including bad shit ones like gacha games).
