I think she lived like absolute shit for the past decade and it finally caught up to her- going days without sleeping, energy drink diets, irregular sleep hours etc. She was essentially living like a teenager into her late twenties. I watched her daily and you can see a rapid decrease in energy and motivation at the start of this year. It wasn't like Sana "ooooh my back horts." you could hear it in her voice. Her windpipe was even seizing up which spurred a break at the start of the year.
I think the hiatus is both for recovery and to focus on her work outside Hololive. The whole telling Lamy she's fine. Ina is very secretive so I can imagine her telling Lamy everything is good.
