I try to wrap it up when I realize I’m sperging out, and I try to cut down on certain habits when I realize they’re cringe. Not because I’m trying to “act normal”, but because…social interaction is supposed to be two-way, and realizing that I’m the only one who gives a shit about what I’m talking about makes the interaction less fun for me, too.
It probably helps that I’ve weaponized my ADHD until I’ve developed multiple things I can sperg about, so I can switch between them based on who I’m around.
