Anyway since it's dead hours I got a bug update. After clearing out the twitter tags for a while, I've come to the conclusion that reporting a tweet/account for spam does not do anything. I assume it's just some automated system where if it's reported enough the account will be restricted, but I've never seen anything more severe than that happen to a spam account in the time shortly following being reported. Even the ones spamming around the clock for weeks. I don't think Twitter actually gives a shit about spam unless it's so significant that it starts pushing bullshit into the trending tab, but the bugs have maybe a half dozen bots so they just fly under the radar.
What DOES work though is reporting photoshopped images that feature Coco's face (or any human face photoshopped onto Coco really) for targeted harassment. If you do that, it lets you select up to 5 tweets to include in the report for context. Just pick a few photoshopped pictures, and maybe a tweet that says something disrespectful (using Google translate), and that account is as good as dead. Harassment reports get a manual human review, probably by some dude in India who is racist against Chinese people, so if they see a bunch of disrespectful photoshops of some random chick they don't seem to have much hesitance to ban that account. Most of the time it works, at least. So keep that in mind if you go clearing out twitter tags. I guess also reporting the spammers for spam couldn't hurt, but don't be surprised if you see them continuing to spam for weeks.
Aside from that they've mostly just been seething about current events and jerking themselves off over terrible translations. Their next big plan is to make loads of Twitch accounts in preparation to disrupt any Vshojo collabs they're mad about both that and any potential NijiEN collabs , and that will definitely work out great for them so I hope they waste weeks of their lives getting those ready. One guy suggested that their "ammunition" should be posting a bunch of emotes.
