And? It's been 16 months since Council and the open auditions started in January. It took 7 months for them to debut Tempus, so there was more than enough time to have 5 girls ready to debut. Nobody is fucking ask for Cover to do an Anycolor and spam 26 members in over a year, but HoloLIVE EN currently has only 10 with almost half of them having extremely inconsistent schedules, organizing collabs with more than 3 or 4 members is a pain especially if they want to invite the 4 who don't live in North America and no matter how much Cover, YAGOO and beggars want you to believe HoloPro exists in name only and will never be a real thing in practice. Now they're stuck with 4 guys who are already dropping to sub 2k viewers and almost hitting 3view territory and one of them getting the full course suspension because he probably acted like fucking retard, while everyone under the sun knows that by now if they debuted 5 girls in their place they would all be at the very least twice as big and wouldn't create any drumb drama because of collabs but, alas, Cover decided to do a "calculated" gamble while being horrible at math.

I'm pretty sure they don't have any. It's likely that the EN management genuinely wanted Tempus to be the focus of this year and didn't prepare any HoloLIVE EN3 so they wouldn't overlap with the new branch, but that definitely didn't work out like they planned. Now who knows when they'll come out and if Cover will be able to get a quality group because they're taking so long that the possible candidates are probably jumping to other small corpos or even Nijisanji. Hopefully we have a new gen before HoloFes but in all honestly my expectations are so low that I won't be surprised if they debut next October or, in the worst-case scenario, Cover didn't learn anything with Tempus and try to push a StarsEN2 before them.

And in all honesty debuting them this year wasn't really a problem because everyone expected it to happen sooner or later, but to make them the sole focus of 2022 when everyone can see that the branch is not in a healthy place and in desperate need of new blood was probably one the most retarded decisions Cover took since they started managing vtubers 5 years ago.

Other than maybe Cover with their wishful thinking I don't think anyone expected anything close to Luxiem's success, even with some of HoloEN shilling them. They were 8 months too late and all of the Stars were insanely less popular than the well popular Nijisanji male vtubers so there was never an expectation for them to be successful like Luxiem had. They still went way beyond what most people expected which was around Roberu's numbers during their first 2-ish months, but now they're basically around that ballpark.

You can check the archive back before Tempus debuted - most people (and not limited to just /here/, but on Twitter and Reddit too) only expected Tempus to do as well as StarsJP. My favorite suggestion that I know for a fact will never happen as long as that chuuni fuck is still around would be a band based gen. Bocchi the Rock is popular right now, so riding that wave with 5 girls who can play instruments and act like a band would be a genius idea, but I'm already expecting some trope filled, 9-page backstory bullshit that the girls will completely drop a couple of months in and just make up their own shit.
