The point is that this is all entertainment and our perceived enjoyment of it is subjective, especially when it comes to chuubas. Factors that influence your enjoyment aren't going to be the same factors that influences someone else's enjoyment. Reducing it to "Good thing is good. More good thing = me happy" and removing all context makes no sense.
Some people watch chuubas for the parasocial attachment. Others watch chuubas just to see an anime girl do funny shit. Someone getting a different kind of enjoyment than you isn't some insane concept, nor is losing interest in a collab pairing that hasn't collabed in almost a year.
