Are people still salty about the auditions recruiting one of their orbiters as people originally expected or have people finally moved on?

How many will actually apply again if they dare to do auditions again despite all the backlash that they were effectively fixed?

The audition is an excellent filter, even if it's fake. Now you can look at the auditions of the people who submitted them, and their twitter reactions and easily blacklist them from any future corpo auditions.

That and it stockpiles a ton of talents into a database for future reference. They know who is interested and who isn't and what direction they can go if they want. If Mouse's tweet and Zen's little hint drop today is right, the addition phase isn't over yet, but because VShojo doesn't do "waves" or "generations", we'll get them staggered over time. We'll see. They can also just invite people who aren't part of the audition process whenever they want.

"Auditions" generate hype, that's it. Remember Vshojo is a western company with that gunrun guy in charge, it wouldn't surprise me if he's using every nasty, slimy little trick he can pull out of his ass to desperately try to prop these whores up. if it was nepotism and just hiring their friends, why did Snuffy and Anny both fail, which lead to Haruka eventually winning? All of these people are their friends, but the previous two admitted to not making it and Anny was even salty about it. However Haruka made it instead of them. If you pick one over the other, when you can pick all of them because of nepotism, then it isn't really nepotism, is it? You're picking the best one.

What I got out of it is that Vshojo only takes people who already have a model. They weren't auditioning for a character for you to play as, they just want someone ready to go.
Niji only takes 100k subs
Vshojo only takes people that already have models
Holo only takes its time
Phase connect only takes legume lasses but I'll thumbs up Pippa.
Any other corps aren't on my radar enough to get my attention.
Tldr Vshojo is rigged unless you have rigging.

Why didn't they just do what OTK does and announce they sent an invitation like a smash DLC. There was no need for the auditions for people who were sent the invitation. Haruka and Snffuy BOTH missed the deadline to audition so they either knew they were in or were told after it didn't matter since they were already in.

Froot was a mostly-unknown artist before debuting as part of VShojo, before they had the success and brand recognition they have now

I love my lazy shork.
Not that this is even remotely possible, let's say she does graduate and joins VShojo. That would really shake up the industry, with dedicated fans following her. She can finally play Muse Dash again.
But alas, Gura's dreams has always been about singing on stage with her idols. She lives for those projects more than streaming.
While VShojo has Nux and reactionary/drama content.

I see no problem in an agency not accepting unworthy applicants. Hololive has been having EN auditions for over a year and has halted temporarily on KR auditions. Also doubt it will stop those from applying again. Too many seek a free ride.
