Also, consider that out of the X thousands of vtubers, out of ones you know you may be OK with most of them but just dislike a few (for example Mori). So you might be in one thread gushing over your oshi but in another (like a throwaway garbage catalog thread) venting about Mori or something. But nobody actually knows that.
Basically this probably is why most of the individual girl threads usually are OK (with some bad exceptions but numerically most of them are very calm) yet so many catalog threads are pure fire and mudslinging - people don't shit where they eat/shit in their own home, temple etc. But they might be happy to shit somewhere else if you push their buttons.
So in understanding all this, when you see someone shitting on a girl you'd imagine he probably is a lot more sane/normal-sounding around most others and it's just this one thing or event bringing it out. You can also tell when someone is trying to just force something and gets a pet nickname for their inane ranting (like enna schizo's anti-irys falseflags) vs what actually appears to be a large, organic sentiment with a large crowd in agreement about something.
