A midboss that the game expect you to survive against instead of killing, because it is hard already surviving, much less kill it at early level, but killing it unlocks a secret character.
Midboss would ideally require unconventional builds that aren't meta to kill
Also, stun or debuff immunity for bosses, since the bosses are easily cheesed by shit like getting flipped 180 deg or knocked back by sora's skill or whatever

Imagine how funny it would be if the next update had a male vtuber as a rare spawn boss that tries to interact with the player (maybe a flashing dialogue bubble saying "let's collab") but all of the fans immediately turn their attention to the male boss instead of the player and kill it. Maybe some of the fans could be given a push back ability that keeps the player at a certain distance from the male boss.

From what I've seen it's just extra stats? There really should be something added to the skills lineup. Like instead of just three passive skills, each characters would have 5 and you can only pick 3? So each runs with the same character will have different playstyle? IDK how to word it man, but it's just feels stale

I finally played Vampire Survivors thinking it was going to be a lot better than this game, I was wrong, the only thing stopping Holocure from being a better game is content.
VS devs should unironically copy HC and make their characters more interesting.
