>>38592518In the West we usually have a lot of land (farms, woodland houses etc.) You can't patrol that alone. Over thousands of years the ol puppy dog grew alongside us. Don't get me wrong, there's no wolves left in England because we killed every single one of them, but for hunting, guarding and occasionally a pet dogs are man's best friend for a reason. It's a waste to eat them. It's like eating a screwdriver to us. It doesn't even cross our mind.
So to see it happen in the east is...off putting.
