Girls like Pikamee and Irys work but they're also actually expected to understand the nuances of CGDCT and idol culture moreso than straight-up Western (or SEA etc) girls, because they're from there and can easily research the background and ethos to a depth 100x that a Western girl could muster without pulling a Kiara learning nip/living there.
Then again, the kind of Japanese girl who actually gets fluent in English usually is a total normalfag in the first place because they're obligatorily going to be the most hardcore of Westaboos, literally the female Kenichi Smiths if they weren't born as hafus.
