Do EN not stream anymore?

Honest question. Every time I try to check which EN is available or is streaming, I just usually see Kiara, IRyS and Fauna. That's just 3 out of the total 10 members.
I feel like I'm getting a situation of take it or leave it when I'm checking which EN are streaming.
Honestly, what is happening with the EN side? Is it also the reason why Cover shows no interest at giving us another EN gen?

If you’re really not baiting, this was already becoming a problem like a month after Council’s debut. It’s how I got used to not watching HoloEN. A series of other reasons made me refuse to watch them and take the small corpo pill for good.

I wonder why though? Do they find streaming a hassle now or just treating it as a job and doing the minimum requirement for it. Really is sad to see if it's really those reasons. They used to be always available when you're in need of to watch something during dead hours. Some of the small corpos are getting clips. Idol and Phase Connect in particular get some on a regular basis. If you’re really interested in taking the pill, that’s one way to do it. Listen to covers and watch shorts too in order to get more small vtubers’ streams. I rarely find that “no one is on” anymore because the small corpos also don’t stay in a box (because they can’t survive like that). That means you even get other small corpos after finding one you like.

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with work ethic or whatever - when Luxiem was bigger they pulled the same shit HoloEN did with constant massive breaks, and the amount of breaks in NijiEN has risen sharply as they grew in success.

You might be right about Luxiem but I think the amount of breaks they've taken have been a healthy amount for not too long. Plus, most of their breaks end up becoming off-collabs and meetups which is good for branch unity. There's so many members now that all of LazuLight can spend a month in Japan and there's still streams happening around the clock.

HoloEN have less than half the members and one graduation. 60% of Myth taking massive hiatuses is more than 25% of the branch, and the ones that aren't on break stream for less hours.

The only reason people out up with it is because of either sunk-cost for the blue triangle or they genuinely still believe Cover only hires the best of the best and watching others is an inherent drop in quality.

You aren't checking that often, then. So far in Dec, just from CouncilRyS (I haven't checked Myth, but I believe their streaming frequencies are lower):
>Baelz streamed 9 /12 days
>Fauna streamed 9 / 12 days
>Mumei streamed 9 / 12 days
>Kronii streamed 6 / 12 days (1 member-only)
>IRyS streamed 7 / 12 (currently down with throathort / COVID)
If you saw IRyS and Fauna, you should've seen Baelz and / or Mumei as well since they overlapped each others pretty frequently.

They have a lot of off-stream works. For example, IRyS streamed 7/12 days (got throathort / COVID on the 10th so she had to cancel 11st stream and has been resting ever since, see above), but she also spent 2 days recording for radio (3 different programs IIRC). Gura barely streams, but if you watched streams, multiple members have mentioned unprompted how she worked on a lot of things off-streams.
Like it or hate it, it's simply that they have gone past being pure streamers. They are entertainers. There are more works from Holo or their personal projects than just streaming now. The same applies to many HoloJP members, but there are enough JP members so it's not that noticeable if a few members taking a day off or two. All in all, EN3 when, I guess?
(If you think they aren't streaming as often as you'd like now, just be ready since many EN members have mentioned going to JP somewhere around end of Dec to Jan. Expect even less streams then)
