It is just like companies who outsource to make more money. Sure you can pay a little less, but if you hire at the rates they do you get awful hires. Poor people are poor and uneducated. They may level up with an education, but after a few years on the job they massively increase their salary or are poor performers. To get a medical degree your family has to already have money. She works hard because she understands the opportunity, and for her it is really good pay, but she is lower middle class.
