For the other parts, I personally don't experience anything more from an MV that accompanies a song, re from food that looks good (except it potentially making me feel hungrier, which doesn't help its actual flavour if it ends up being shit still). If you do, that sounds like a double-edged sword since it means you require that extra visual aspect to get full enjoyment out of certain things. But just like how not everyone experiences ASMR, not everyone that does gets any enhancement from a visual aspect. In fact I'd be willing to bet far fewer do than don't, and it's probably a placebo more than an actual enhancement.
In my case I actually get more out of ASMR with my eyes closed, taking away one of my senses to allow further focus on the audio.
