It’s because they’re not burgerlanders but they have a powerful tech startup industry. That’s it. You try to raise money for vtubers in burgerland or leafland, everybody will ask you why you don’t make some disney or Hollywood shit, and only a few hardcore weebs will invest. Everywhere else, they see disneyshit and anime as two equally foreign things, so they’re fine with investing more money.
Israel has VCs and no disney debuff for weeb shit. So Idol Corp has more startup funding than Tsunderia or Phase or some other agency started up in places infected with burgerland mentality. Why else was Idol the only small corpo to take EU seriously and hire *two* Europeans (coincidentally, two Europeans in the GMT time zone, aka one hour earlier than Kiara, aka one hour closer to NA for collabs)?
Idol Corp is successful because it’s from the only country with lots of VCs but that doesn’t have its head stuck up its own ass over anime girls. So they have more money to spend on the things the other small corpos try, but can’t afford, to.
