I don’t numberfag for the talents I like. I’ll mention inclines because I want the girls I like to do well. I imagine I would feel empathy if there was a recline, but I haven’t seen a single vtuber I’ve watched actually recline since making the switch from HoloEN.
Why are there so many numberfags? Probably because so many anons on this board sperg about Hololive, Hololive, Hololive, as if nobody else exists. You are a wrong. The normies stay, that's the problem. Normies have no loyalty and thus are irrelevent to keeping your brand alive. They come and go as things are good/bad. Telling your best customers (in this case unicorns) means you lose your actual base. This is fine while things are good. When things go bad, you don't have that unicorn base to keep things going.

It's terrible long term because things will not always go well. 10 good paying unicorns are worth 10,000 normalfags. Telling just 1 or 2 to go fuck themselves is a massive lost.

Reddit has crazy moderation in general and r/hololive is among the worst due to the confirmed presence of actual Hololive talent, so people are much less likely to make throw-away posts due to the liability to get banned.
